Services

I often work with clients who are experiencing:

Disruptions in eating and relationship to one’s body: disordered eating, eating disorders, and body disembodiment

Trauma including both chronic and acute experiences

Disconnection and dissatisfaction in relationships

Identity transitions and exploration of one’s connection to their true self

I encourage anyone curious and wanting connection in a therapy setting to reach out so we can discuss working together, regardless of specific symptoms you may or may not have. We can decide together if I’m a good fit for your needs or if a referral to someone else is warranted.

Modalities that guide my work:

NARM: NeuroAffective Relational Model

EFFT: Emotion Focused Family Therapy

Family systems therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

FBT: Family Based Treatment for eating disorders: note on “FBT”. *I use this modality with only select clients/families after careful consideration of options available to address presenting eating disorder concerns, and with sig. modification to assure trauma-focused relational care & consent, and emotional wellbeing are prioritized while this behavioral/goal directed model is implemented.

I work with clients from a holistic, strengths-based perspective and am grounded in family systems, psychodynamic, attachment, and relational theory, as well as findings within the neuropsychology field.

Fees for services: My fees for sessions are comparable with the average fees of LCSWs in San Francisco. Please call or email me to discuss cost per session. I offer a sliding scale rate on a limited basis. I currently do not directly accept any insurance at this time. I provide monthly statements, “superbills,” that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement.

Session Type: I offer individual, caregiver, and family sessions as well as supervision for unlicensed social workers seeking supervision towards their licensure. Sessions are typically 50 minutes, but extended times can be arranged pending circumstances and scheduling.
